Stars and Stripes Liquigas-Cannondale: ready for Tour of Utah
USA champion Duggan among the protagonists





6th August – Second trip of 2012 to the USA for Liquigas-Cannondale. Tomorrow the green-blue team will debut in Tour of Utah, race of six stages that will end on Sunday 12th August, searching to continue is great performances collected till now in the States (in 2011, one victory in California and three in Colorado; in 2012, five in California and the National Championship).



Directeur sportif Biagio Conte will have six riders at his disposal. Timmy Duggan, with his Stars and Stripes jersey, will be one of the point of reference of the team. Together with him the second American rider of Liquigas-Cannondale, Ted King, and Italians climbers Damiano Caruso and Valerio Agnoli. Paolo Longo Borghini, long distance rider, will be the experienced rider of the team while young Marco Benfatto will make is own debut as stageur with the green-blue jersey.
