Stage one winner Peter Sagan raced aboard a custom-painted “Tourminator” Cannondale Evo today, the result of a conversation during the Tour of California between he and Cannondale’s Sports Marketing director Rory Mason. Sagan was christened the Terminator during his 2009 season with the Cannondale Factory Racing Team. With his formidable power and strength, Sagan would chew up his fair share of wheels and tires, earning him the fitting nickname. When two of his victories in California came after crashing and coming back with fierce conviction, the name suits him even more. The morning of the Tour of California’s final stage to Los Angeles, a sporting wager was made... Win a fifth stage and the Terminator bike would be waiting at the Tour.
