GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

Throughout its history, cycling has always stood out as a sport of values and meaning and is above all the source of unique emotions. When Liquigas decided to join forces with cycling, we immediately understood the enormous potential that this wonderful sport could offer us. We are now into our eighth year in green and blue, and I'm absolutely delighted with the choice we made. As a company, we have accomplished all our predetermined goals in terms of both visibility and results: an incomparable return on image, superb popularity and the opportunity to reach our clientele in every corner of Italy. But more than anything else, cycling has given us a chance that few other sports could have offered: to share and represent our image through the values of sacrifice, commitment, consistency, passion and team spirit. These are the factors that enable a team to excel, as Liquigas-Cannondale has done, and a company to become an industry leader.
This is what we aspired to when we created Liquigas Sport and this is what also goes through our minds as we tackle the day-to-day challenges of life. Hard work always pays off and this is what we aim to prove once again in 2012: we'll show that Liquigas is an even stronger and more competitive company and that Liquigas-Cannondale is a first-rate team and a main contender anywhere in the world.
I would like to wish a successful and rewarding season to our fans, cycling enthusiasts and everyone who lives and works in the world of cycling. Naturally I hope it will be the season of the men in green and blue.
